Stacked Caprese Salad
- 1 Large Tomato
- 4 oz of Fresh Mozzarella
- 6-8 Fresh Basil Leaves
- 1 tbsp of balsamic vinaigrette
- Wash the tomato and then slice it into 5 even slices (slice a thin layer of the tomato off the bottom and discard, this will help with balance for the stack)
- Slice the fresh mozzarella into 4 even 1 oz slices
- Wash fresh basil and tear 6-8 leaves
- Starting with the bottom of the tomato, build the stack by alternating tomato slice, basil leaf, and slice of mozzarella until you create the entire stack
- Drizzle balsamic vinaigrette over the stack, cut up into bit sized pieces, and enjoy!
