Stacked Caprese Salad

Stacked Caprese Salad


  • 1 Large Tomato
  • 4 oz of Fresh Mozzarella
  • 6-8 Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 1 tbsp of balsamic vinaigrette


Step 1

Wash the tomato and then slice it into 5 even slices (slice a thin layer of the tomato off the bottom and discard, this will help with balance for the stack)

Step 2

Slice the fresh mozzarella into 4 even 1 oz slices

Step 3

Wash fresh basil and tear 6-8 leaves

Step 4

Starting with the bottom of the tomato, build the stack by alternating tomato slice, basil leaf, and slice of mozzarella until you create the entire stack

Step 5

Drizzle balsamic vinaigrette over the stack, cut up into bit sized pieces, and enjoy!
