15 Healthy Chocolate Recipes For Delicious Desserts

Are you looking for ways to get your chocolate fix without compromising your health and wellness? I’m the first one to admit that I’ve got a bit of a sweet tooth. But since I started my fitness journey, I’ve had to eliminate or restrict many things in my diet (especially peanut and almond butter!).

Being careful with our diets doesn’t mean we can’t indulge every once in a while. Especially if we make smart decisions like using healthy dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate. The latter is overprocessed and full of sugar, while the former is associated with TONS of health benefits.

Whether you’re looking for a chocolate recipe that you can enjoy guilt-free or looking for the perfect chocolate pudding replacement, I got you covered. Here’s one of the biggest FMCrecipe roundups ever; it’s packed with FIFTEEN healthy and delicious dishes you can make right now!

1) DECADENT & EASY KETO CHOCOLATE MOUSSE

Do you subscribe to one of the most popular special diets in the world right now? If you do (or don’t), then you’re going to LOVE this. This chocolately mousse is hands-down my fav take on a healthy chocolate pudding alternative. It’s going to be yours too.

2) DOUBLE CHOCOLATE PROTEIN MUFFINS

These muffins do triple duty as a healthy breakfast option, a daytime snack, or an after-dinner dessert. The recipe calls for 1/3 cup of dark and healthy chocolate chips (at least 60% cacao), but the optional garnish, with 1 or 2 chips placed on top of each muffin, is what really sells this one. These double chocolate muffins are EXACTLY what you came here for.

3) DARK CHOCOLATE CHICKPEA BROWNIES

Believe it or not, there is such a thing as a healthy brownies recipe. And this is it! I use chickpeas to give these brownies their signature fudge-like consistency. They’ll come out soft and moist, but the best part is that you can enjoy them guilt-free.

4) BREAKFAST COOKIES – CHOCOLATE OATMEAL COOKIES

Do you have a weakness for chocolate oatmeal cookies? Me too! These cookies pack a protein punch and are an excellent option for breakfast on the go. As an added bonus, they’re also a great source of fiber.

5) DARK CHOCOLATE CHUNK AVOCADO COOKIES

I can tell you’re already drooling: Avocado chocolate chunk cookies! This is another chocolate cookies recipe that you’re going to have a hard time NOT eating all at once. As a healthy chocolate snack, the cacao and avocado come together to liberate your taste buds without sacrificing your health.

6) BLACK BANANA BREAD

I love this banana bread recipe because it uses the lesser-known black cacao powder, a Dutch version of the powder with none of the bitterness that turns some folks off. As far as healthy chocolate recipes go, this is one of the biggest crowd-pleasers there is.

7) 4-INGREDIENT VEGAN CHOCOLATE COOKIES

This recipe uses vegan chocolate chips sweetened with stevia as well as cacao or dark chocolate powder. And honestly, this vegan take on chocolate chip cookies just might be one of my favs of all time, so you GOTTA give them a try.

8) DARK CHOCOLATE ALMOND BUTTER CLUSTERS

Chocolate covered anything is ALWAYS good, right? This is a great snack to store in the fridge or freezer. Adding the berries is optional, but I HIGHLY recommend it. They take this chocolate treat to a whole other level!

9) CREAMY VEGAN BAKED CHEESECAKE

If you’re living that vegan life, or if you’re not a fan of cream cheese, I’ve got good news. There ARE cheesecake recipes out there that you’re going to love. And THIS is one of them. Dig in!

10) EASY 10-MINUTE CHOCOLATE ENERGY BARS

Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I had a “real” chocolate bar. Like, the kind you pick up at the corner store. Kick the sugar addiction and replace it with healthy chocolate snacks like these energy bars. You’ll never look at a Kit-Kat the same way again.

11) PROTEIN BANANA SPLIT

Yup. I really went this far. This is an older recipe, but it’s one that I still love to come back to as one of my favorite sweet treats. In this one, we use chocolate chips and Greek yogurt to create a healthy version of one of the most popular dessert dishes ever.

12) DARK CHOCOLATE CHILI ALMOND BARK

As far as healthy homemade chocolate recipes go, it doesn’t get much better than this. With a pinch of sea salt and some chili powder to taste, this recipe is absolutely BURSTING with flavor. Keep it in the fridge so that you always have a healthy snack option available!

13) GLUTEN-FREE VEGAN CHOCOLATE BROWNIE WAFFLES

Start your day off right with this rich chocolate breakfast option. It took me a LONG time to master the vegan waffle, so save yourself the trouble by following this recipe closely! Since you’ll use maple syrup in the wet ingredients, you don’t even have to pour any on top!

14) HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE GRANOLA CEREAL WITH ALMOND BUTTER

Here’s another option if you want to get your chocolate cravings satisfied before you even start your day. I like to use almond butter in this recipe, but you can substitute any nut butter you prefer, as long as there’s oil in the jar.

15) HEALTHY BAKED OATMEAL RECIPE WITH CHOCOLATE

Believe it or not, healthy chocolate desserts under 100 calories DO exist. Or at least they CAN if you’re determined enough. And… I CLEARLY was . This snack will definitely curb your cravings. Follow the recipe closely, and they’ll stay moist all week!
