This is excellent and I’ve been making it for years since first seeing it. Various combinations based on your own tastes/ideas are possible.
I’ve also taken out the marinara and added sautéed shaved steak and sautéed peppers and onions and a touch of reduced fat cream cheese to the cottage to make a Philly cheesesteak lasagna.
