Prepare your taste buds for a flavor explosion with this easy and delicious recipe for Air-Fried Spicy Chicken Curry Thighs. Packed with bold spices and juicy chicken thighs, this dish is sure to become a favorite in your kitchen.

How to Prepare Curry Chicken Thighs

To begin, preheat your air-fryer to 410F/210C or your oven to 420F/216C.

Next, season your chicken thighs with a tantalizing blend of spices, including spicy curry, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, sea salt, and pepper. Use a light spray of avocado oil to help the spices adhere to the chicken. Massage the spices thoroughly into the chicken and allow it to marinate at room temperature for 20-30 minutes, ensuring maximum flavor infusion.

For optimal cooking results, allow the chicken to come to room temperature before placing it in the air-fryer or oven.

If using an air-fryer, arrange the chicken thighs in the air-fryer basket and cook for 15-22 minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure even cooking. If using an oven, place the chicken on a baking tray lined with parchment paper or on a rack inside the baking tray. Roast for approximately 20-25 minutes, checking for doneness and broiling for the final 3 minutes to achieve a golden brown finish.

Enjoy Your Chicken Curry Recipe Thighs

Once cooked through and irresistibly aromatic, remove the chicken from the air-fryer or oven and enjoy immediately while still hot.

For meal prep purposes, allow the chicken to cool slightly before transferring it to a container. This prevents steam from forming and making the chicken soggy. Air-Fried Spicy Chicken Curry

Thighs pair perfectly with a variety of sides such as rice, salad, roasted veggies, or soups.

Storing Curried Chicken Thighs Leftovers
