First, use a paper towel to wipe the salmon filets dry, and then transfer them to a bowl that is safe to put in the microwave. Spread a good amount of hoisin sauce and low-sodium teriyaki sauce over the salmon’s top and sides, making sure every piece is well covered in the delicious marinade. Let the salmon marinate in the fridge for at least 20 minutes, preferably overnight for maximum flavor absorption.

When the time for cooking comes, cover the bowl loosely with a microwave cover or plastic wrap that is appropriate for the microwave to avoid spills.   • 2 teaspoons low sodium teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin
    • oyster sauce
    • get low sodium if possible

Steps

Step 1

Pat salmon filets dry with a paper towel and then place in a microwave safe bowl.  Rub the sauces all over the top and side of the salmon.
