Low Carb Herb Yogurt Biscuits

Ingredients for 6 biscuits

* Optional Substitution Note
  • Dry
    • 1 measured cup super fine almond flour
      • Substitute: coconut flour
    • 2 teaspoons baking powder
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 2 teaspoons fresh dill (or herb/seasoning of choice)
    • pinch of sea salt
  • Wet
    • 1 egg, lightly beaten
    • 1/4 cup (~2oz) plain yogurt (I used YQ plain)

STEPS

Step 1

Set oven to 350F.

Step 2

Mix together dry ingredients in a bowl.  Fold in the yogurt and egg.  Mix until the batter is thick and “frothy.”

Step 3

Line baking sheet with parchment paper.  For best results, use a small ice cream scoop to equally measure out 6 biscuits.

Step 4

Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes or until the outside is golden brown.  Allow the biscuits to slightly cool and “harden” before enjoying.
