These yogurt biscuits are certainly one of my favorite ways through which to include more yogurt into your diet. They are so easy to make and literally take next to no time from start to finish. You will have some delicious fluffy biscuits to enjoy in less than half an hour. This yogurt biscuits recipe will definitely not disappoint you. You will not need more than 5 minutes of prep time and another 15 minutes of cooking time. You can easily make these even when you are in a hurry. Now, let’s cut to the chase and start cooking!
First things first, for this biscuits recipe you will need the following ingredients. For the dry ingredients, you will need one cup of super-fine almond flour. If you do not have almond flour, you can use coconut flour. You will also need two teaspoons of baking powder, two teaspoons of fresh dill or any herb you prefer, one teaspoon of onion powder and lastly a pinch of salt.
For the wet ingredients, you will need one lightly beaten egg and one-fourth cup of yogurt. You can use plain yogurt, greek yogurt, or YQ plain yogurt which I used.
To start the process, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Get a bowl and put together all of the dry ingredients and mix them. Add in the egg and the yogurt and mix until the batter gets thick. Get a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper. To get even biscuits, use an ice cream scoop. You should be left with 6 even biscuits.
Take the baking sheet and place it in the oven for approximately 15 minutes. The best way to check is to see if they are golden brown. When done take them out and let them cool before you dive in. Enjoy!
