Experience the robust flavors of a Microwave Burrito Bowl, an easy and delectable lunch that works well for any time of day. Let us go over the easy steps to make this tasty dish.
Cut the low-sodium turkey sausage into small pieces to start. Make sure the sausage is cooked thoroughly by placing it in a bowl that is safe to microwave and covering it gently. Microwave for 3 to 6 minutes.
The cooked turkey sausage, chipotle in adobo sauce, cooked jasmine rice, drained black beans, taco seasoning, and raw spinach should all be combined in a mixing dish. It is optional to add red or green enchilada sauce for individuals who want their burritos more intense. Combine all the ingredients and fold gently until well combined. As required, add a few teaspoons of chipotle or enchilada sauce to adjust the moisture level.
For a creamy finish, transfer the mixture to a dish that is safe to use in the microwave and sprinkle shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese on top. After placing the dish in the microwave, cover it lightly and cook it for 6 to 8 minutes, or until the cheese is perfectly melted.
Before eating, let the burrito bowl cool for two to three minutes. The tastes are given a short amount of time to blend together, which improves the overall flavor profile.
This filling and tasty microwave burrito bowl, made with turkey sausage, spinach, rice, beans, and cheese, is ready in a matter of minutes. This recipe is likely to become an established go-to choice for hectic days, whether it is eaten for lunch, dinner, or just as a quick and simple snack. Enjoy the ease of microwave cooking combined with the flavor and convenience of a handcrafted burrito bowl.
