Meatballs don’t get as much attention as they should be getting. It is so versatile that you can add it to any dish or you can even make your own baked turkey quinoa meatballs as part of your healthy dinner recipes.
This turkey quinoa recipe is very easy to make. You just put the ground meat and the seasonings such as pepper, Italian seasoning or even soy sauce in a bowl then mix and cook as desired.
I also include and cook quinoa with ground turkey because it perfectly serves as a whole-grain binder to the meatball while preventing it from being dry.
Quinoa is a flowering plant that originates from the Andean region of northwestern South America. It is grown as a crop for its edible seeds. The seeds have a high amount of protein, B vitamins, dietary fibers, and minerals that are far greater than those of many other grains.

Loved this recipe but found the fennel to be a bit heavy. I made meatballs and also tried the mixture as a poblano pepper stuffing which I baked then topped with some shaved Parmesan.
It’s always good to experiment with food. Glad it turned out well in the end!
