My name is Kevin. My life changed when I realized that healthy living is truly a lifelong journey, mainly won by having a well-balanced diet and enjoying adequate exercise. By experimenting in the kitchen and openly sharing my meals, I learned that healthy eating is hardly boring and that by making a few adjustments, I could design a diet that could help me achieve my personal fitness goals. Our bodies are built in the kitchen and sculpted in the gym.

Got breakfast? Well, if you do not, you should! It is arguably the most important meal of the day, so even the busiest fitness enthusiast should spare a few minutes upon waking to fuel up for the day.

And in case you need an extra kick, this fully-loaded protein and superfood parfait has a jolt of caffeine so you can start your day right!

I prefer using Labrada Nutrition ISO Lean Pro because it has 0g carbs and 0g fat, allowing me to add 25g of lean protein to any meal.  Plus, it has a rich creamy flavor that mixes well with yogurt.

Ingredients

For 1 serving:

  • 1 scoop lean whey isolate protein powder
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee
  • ½ tbsp organic honey
  • 1/3 cup granola
  • ¼ cup blueberries

Steps
  1. Place half of the yogurt with Lean Pro, cacao powder, instant coffee and honey in a bowl.
  2. Mix all together until you have a smooth consistency.
  3. Place this in a glass jar or bowl, then top with the rest of the yoghurt, granola and blueberries.

Note 1: You do not have to make a layered version but it looks better with multiple colors. Note 2 : You can use chocolate protein powder as well but raw cacao powder has more antioxidants.
