Getting Started With This Delicious Recipe for Taco Burgers

Meals that are simple to prepare yet nonetheless flavorful are essential in the middle of a busy day, especially after a long day of work. The winner of the contest is the 15-Minute Taco Tuesday Bison Burger, which offers a tasty yet quick dinner for four without completely abandoning flavor.

How to Make Taco Burgers

Start the adventure with a quarter cup of freshly chopped cilantro, a tablespoon of delicious taco seasoning, and 1.5 pounds of 90% lean ground bison. To achieve a tender and tasty burger, it is important to use minimal pressure and not overwork the ingredients.

Moving to the stovetop stage, place your carbon steel or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. A quick drizzle of avocado oil gives your burgers an ideal sizzle and makes the perfect crust in the end. Sear for the ideal doneness: 2-3 minutes for a medium-rare delight 3–4 minutes for a perfect medium, or 4-5 minutes if you prefer them to be well-done.

As the burgers are sizzling, set up the buns and any desired toppings. If you want to, toast the brioche buns to provide an additional layer of texture. As the aroma lingers across the kitchen, put the burgers together with an innovative twist: 2% Greek yogurt in place of traditional mayonnaise. Add a variety of crisp, fresh toppings, such as red onion, avocado, green lettuce, tomato slices, and cheddar.

Adding The Finishing Touches To Your Taco Burger

Serve your Taco Tuesday Bison Burger with a crisp garden salad or low-calorie tortilla chips to round off your culinary adventure.

Are you in the mood for adventure? With a tasty garden salad, you can break apart the patties and improve your experience.

Are you also looking for a perfect drink to accompany this amazing meal? For the ideal balance of tastes, try the Tipsy Mango Cocktail.

Accept the simplicity and comfort of the 15-Minute Taco Tuesday Bison Burger, an example of how to quickly prepare a gourmet dinner for any occasion.

Steps

Step 1

Mix the bison, spices, and cilantro.

Remember to use fingertips and be somewhat gentle so as not to overmix the ground and end up with an unappetizing firm, packed finished burger.

Form 4 equally sized burgers, again being gentle so as not to make them too compact.

Step 2

Set a carbon steel or cast iron skillet on medium-high heat.  Spray with avocado oil (or any oil you have) and make sure the skillet is not too hot.  Add the burgers and cook until you reach your desired doneness.

  • medium-rare: 2 – 3 minutes per side
  • medium: 3 – 4 minutes per side
  • well-done: 4 – 5 minutes per side
Step 3

Prep the buns and toppings while the burgers finish in the skillet.  If desired, toast the buns.

Step 4

Build the burger using Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise with toppings of your choice.  Enjoy with low calorie tortilla chips or a garden salad.

Alternatively, you can break the patty apart and enjoy it with a garden salad.

If you need a beverage to complement this burger, try the Tipsy Mango Cocktail.
