Hulk Smash Chicken, Asparagus & Avocado Pizza

This is one of my favorite avocado pizza recipes, full of delicious flavor, healthy fats, and lean proteins. Avocado recipes are usually a blast, and this homemade pizza is a great way to show case the lovely and tasty ingredients. This pizza recipe has no pizza sauce, and instead of pizza dough, a piece of naan bread is best since it’s easy and fast. All you have to do is pop it into the preheated oven on a baking sheet, top with chicken, cheese, asparagus and bake until the cheese is melted. The great thing about this avocado pizza recipe is that you don’t have to worry about getting the pizza crusts just right.

If you need a higher fat diet to keep up with your workout routine (especially if you need to bulk), a drizzle of olive oil and some extra pizza toppings won’t hurt. Add a squeeze of lemon juice as well for a burst of tang flavor. You can use leftover roast chicken for this dish, which should make putting this together even more of a breeze.

Unfortunately, avocado doesn’t keep well so this isn’t something you can make, freeze, and then reheat. Thankfully, it’s so tasty that you don’t have to worry about storage, you will have your hands full trying to make enough! However, you can have the other ingredients frozen and ready to go, including the crust. Chicken, cheese, asparagus, and naan all freeze well so cook time can be greatly cut down without worry of leftover ingredients spoiling.

Hulk Smash Chicken, Asparagus & Avocado Pizza


* Optional Substitution Note
  • 6 oz chicken breast
  • 1 piece wheat naan bread
  • 4 asparagus spears
  • 1/4 haas avocado (diced)
  • 1.5 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/8 cup parmesan (optional)
  • 1/8 cup mozzarella
  • Seasonings for chicken: garlic, lemon pepper, Bragg’s Liquid Aminos


Step 1

Set oven to 405F.

Step 2

Season chicken breast, then cook a nonstick skillet.

Step 3

Chop asparagus and dice an avocado.

Step 4

To naan bread, add garlic, greek yogurt, parmesan, asparagus, avocado and chicken.

Step 5

Bake for 10 minutes at 405F.

Approximate Macros (without parmesan).
