Do you routinely skip breakfast because you forget or you’re in a hurry? Try these hi-energy muffins loaded with natural energy to help power you through the day.
Necessary ingredients for oatmeal muffins are rolled oats, almond butter and almond milk, banana, dates, goji berries, dark chocolate and baking powder. Now that you’ve got all of our ingredients, it’s time to set the oven to 315 degrees.
Until the oven heats up, get banana, dates, almond milk, and almond butter. Add to a food processor and blend. In a bowl, mix baking powder with rolled oats, then stir in the batter. Add goji berries, dark chocolate chips, and stir one more time.
Spray the muffin pan with a cooking spray. Evenly divide among the muffin cups. Bake for 15 minutes at 315 F, until golden brown. Remove from the oven and cool for a couple of minutes, then tip the muffins out of the pan. Return the oat muffins to the rack to finish cooling.
A great snack between meals, when you have a lack of energy. You can make them and store in the fridge or freezer, and always have them ready to take away.
