Guile Sonic Boom: Tropical Golden Smoothie

Smoothies are a go-to drink if the weather is scorching hot, especially in the summer. Smoothies are drinks that are made by pureeing fruits and vegetables. Nowadays, most smoothies are made with milk and dairy which can affect the nutritional value of the smoothie, but in this recipe, we won’t be using milk or dairy to keep this drink hearty.
For the ingredients, you’ll need yellow cherry tomatoes, which are rich in lycopene that helps prevent cardiovascular diseases, chopped mango, which can help with lowering levels of cholesterol, a banana, which gives you potassium to regulate your blood and keep your muscles and nerves working, a cup of sliced pineapple (make sure to remove the core of the pineapple), then peel a cucumber, which contains magnesium, potassium and vitamin K that also keeps your heart happy and lastly coconut water, which will serve as our base.
Blend all of your ingredients into a blender and make sure to blend them well. Use the pulse blend setting on your blender to make sure that you remove any chunks of fruits and vegetables in there. Blend it until smooth.
Voila! You just leveled up your smoothie game by making a healthier, Tropical Golden Smoothie! This smoothie recipe is rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and enzymes, to keep our body not only protected, but also delicious and refreshing. This is why this recipe is “Golden”. You can do this smoothie along with your meal instead of having it as a salad. You can also make this as a filling snack!

- 10 yellow cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 cup mango (chopped)
- 1/2 banana
- 1/4 cup pineapple
- 1/4 cucumber (peeled)
- splash of coconut water*

Add ingredients listed above to a blender.
Simply pulse blend for about 1 minute to ensure you remove any chunks, then blend until smooth.
