Bison stuffed jalapeño poppers! These are almost too good to be true. Eat them as a meal or a great snack for your next game watching party. And with the super bowl and world cup series quickly approaching, it’s time to start thinking about a killer spread of food that will be just as good as the game you watch on tv. Boom.

How to make this snack? Very easy. You’ll need only 5 ingredients. Buy some lean ground bison, jalapeños, Greek yogurt, reduced-fat feta cheese and green onions.

Preheat the oven to 425F. In the meantime cook the bison in a skillet. First, add garlic and onion and when they get a golden color, add bison.

In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt with feta cheese, onions and cooked ground meat. Then slice jalapeños in half and remove the insides and stuff them with the filling. Make sure they’re not too small because they’ll be hard to stuff. If you desire, you can even wrap jalapeño with bacon.

The next step is placing stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet and baking at 425F for 20 to 25 minutes until they’re crispy.

Serve baked jalapeño poppers while hot with a side dipping, and enjoy with your friends.

Ingredients:

  • 5oz 96% lean ground bison
  • 1/2 cup 2% Greek yogurt
  • 5 jalapeños
  • 1/4 cup reduced fat feta cheese
  • 1/8 cup green onion

Steps

Step 1

Set oven to 425F.

Step 2

Slice jalapeños in half and remove the insides, the majority of the white seeds unless you really want it spicy.

Step 3

Cook your lean ground meat in a skillet using a little garlic and onion.

Step 4

Mix greek yogurt, feta cheese, green onions and cooked ground meat in a bowl.

Step 5

Stuff the hallow jalapeños with the filling.

Step 6

Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 425F.

Step 7

Serve while hot!
