Do you love having barbecues but are getting tired of the same old boring steaks? It might be time for you to try out our roasted BBQ cauliflower. These flavor-rich cauliflower bites can put a spin on your barbecues and keep friends coming back for more.
Not everyone is a fan of cauliflower due to its somewhat unusual taste. But, when given a bit of prep time, you’d be surprised by how delicious it can be. To pull off this recipe, you’ll need one large cauliflower head, ⅔ cup of a low-sodium BBQ sauce, and one tablespoon of arrowroot starch.
For your seasonings, you’ll need two teaspoons of garlic powder, two teaspoons of onion powder, a tablespoon and a half of smoked paprika, and a tablespoon and a half of cumin. Get some sea salt and pepper to taste and some extra-virgin olive oil spray.
Set your oven to 410 degrees Fahrenheit, then chop all the florets off the cauliflower. Spread them out on your baking and spray them with a nice coat of olive oil.
Season the florets using some cumin, onion, garlic powder, pepper, and smoked paprika. Be sure to rub the seasoning into your florets until the coats are even on all of them. Roast for 15 minutes, then take them out of the oven and put them in a big bowl.
Mix your BBQ sauce and arrowroot starch in a separate goal until they blend together. Pour this tasty combo onto the florets. You can shake the bowl to get the best mix. Get your florets back on the baking sheets, then roast for another five to ten minutes.
Voila, you’ve made your first batch of BBQ cauliflower bites. If you want an extra challenge next time, you can try making BBQ cauliflower wings and adding Jalapeno extract to spice things up. Stay healthy, fit foodies!
