March madness is in full effect and if you’re spending lots of time in front of the TV with friends or family, don’t ruin your lean body plan for the summer. Try this protein packed snack, turkey wrapped chicken stuffed goat cheese, asparagus & bell pepper!
For this chicken poppers recipe, you need to cut the chicken into thin strips, in order to be able to make perfect small rolls from them.
Make sure they are not too small so that you can roll the ingredients in the middle.
Spread chicken with coconut aminos or Bragg’s liquid aminos and add Mrs. Dash flavor of your choice. Make sure every piece is well covered.
And now we roll! Lay down the chicken, add two asparagus spears, a slice of bell pepper and a tablespoon of goat cheese. Roll up and wrap in low sodium turkey meat. You may want to stick a toothpick in if you think it’s going to fall apart. Anyhow, if you plan to grill them, I advise you to do so, because you will have to flip them.
You can either grill them or bake them in the oven. Ten minutes is enough to bake them, and chicken poppers are ready to eat.
These cute chicken poppers you can serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or salad. They would go perfectly with hot sauce as well, if you are a fan.
The next time your guests are announced, it’s a great opportunity to try this poppers recipe and serve this bite size snack. And I believe your family would go crazy over these poppers too, especially kids!
I guarantee you will like it so much that you will make them all over again. Let me know if you try it by leaving a comment down below, or sending an email. I love to hear from you guys!
