Four Protein Egg White Smoothies to Fuel Your Day

My name is Kevin. My life changed when I realized that healthy living is truly a lifelong journey, mainly won by having a well-balanced diet and enjoying adequate exercise. By experimenting in the kitchen and openly sharing my meals, I learned that healthy eating is hardly boring and that by making a few adjustments, I could design a diet that could help me achieve my personal fitness goals. Our bodies are built in the kitchen and sculpted in the gym.

Sometimes getting the day started can be challenging.  Trying to “get the kids ready,” responding to work emails while you multitask, taking the dog out for a morning walk, preparing lunches, etc – the list goes on.  Oftentimes I forget to eat and don’t realize it until it’s mid-morning and my “hanger” takes over.

That’s why I LOVE smoothies! Whenever I’m in a pinch for time, and even money, smoothies have been one of my go-to ways to make sure I meet my daily caloric goals.  And to make sure I get enough protein? Bob Evans Liquid egg whites!  I’ve been purchasing liquid egg whites since I started my wellness journey back in 2012.

They are inexpensive, a lean source of protein and very easy to “sneak” into recipes to boost the protein content.  That’s why these smoothies are perfect to help you “fuel your day.”

Egg White Protein Smoothies

Here’s what you will need to make these 4 smoothies.  My advice?  Make each smoothie over 4 days – a smoothie a day!  Then select which smoothie you enjoyed most to make again and MAKE it better!

  • 1 large 32oz carton of Bob Evans Egg Whites
  • 1 bundle of spinach
  • 4 bananas (cut them up and freeze them)
  • 16oz carton of 2% Greek yogurt
  • 1 carton unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 large bag frozen mango
  • 1 large bag frozen pineapple
  • slices/pieces of watermelon
  • 4 navel oranges
  • dates for sweetening if desired
