Food is love. Share it.FacebookTwitterPinterestGoogle+tumblr

Here is one of my favorite snack foods: Banana, nut butter & granola.  It is only 218 calories and makes a good pre-workout snack with a Labrada ISO LeanPro protein shake. And, this is definitely something your children will love! Boom. (traduccion abajo)

Ingredients for 1 serving:

  • 1/2 medium-size banana
  • 1 tbsp natural peanut butter (or other nut butter)
  • 1/8 cup raw granola (I used Bare Naked)

Steps:

  1. Warm choice of natural nut butter in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds.
  2. Slice a banana in half.
  3. Pour granola onto a small plate.
  4. Dip the banana in the warm nut butter and then roll the peanut butter portion of the banana into the granola.
  5. If you are planning for a party, then stick popsicle sticks into the ends of the banana and place in the freezer or fridge before guests arrive.
  6. Enjoy!

Ingredientes:
