Frozen Yogurt Bark Recipe That You Will Love

Prep: 8h 10 min
Total: 8h 10 min

Ingredients

Bark Topping suggestions
  • chopped raw pistachios
    • almonds, pecans, walnuts
  • dried cranberries
    • frozen berries
  • coconut flakes
    • macros were calculated using nutrition for 1 cup of crushed almonds

Steps

Step 1

Add yogurt and mango to a blender and process until smooth.  Add 1 tablespoon of water as needed to assist with mixing.

ATTN those with a sweet tooth: if you want it be a bit sweeter, I recommend adding agave, a date, or coconut sugar (but it may slightly darken the bark FYI)

Step 2

Line a baking tray with parchment and pour in the mango-flavored yogurt.

Step 3

Add your choice of toppings such as nuts, dried fruits, frozen berries, coconut flakes, cacao nibs – whatever YOU like!  Keep in mind that individual macros will vary depending on the toppings you add.

Step 4

Cover and place in the freezer and freeze until solid, about 6 – 8 hours (or overnight).

Step 5

Then remove from the tray and peel off the parchment paper.  Use the parchment paper as a barrier for your hands and break the mango yogurt into pieces, creating bark. Store in the freezer in a container and enjoy whenever you need a quick treat!  Great for after-school treats!
