This recipe is quite simple at its base. The two main ingredients that you need are smoked salmon filets and some slider buns (preferably whole wheat ones). However, you can always experiment and put your own twist. You can substitute smoked salmon with grilled salmon to create the perfect grilled salmon sliders. An oven is also an option if you do not have a grill. No matter what, to pack some flavor into these sliders, you are going to need some seasonings.

Here you can do pretty much whatever you like. One of the most popular spreads for a salmon slider is garlic aioli. Add some lemon to it and create garlic lemon aioli. Lemon always goes well with any fish. Another option is garlic lemon pepper seasoning. You cannot go wrong with this.

Another option is to simply bake some salmon seasoning it with smoke seasoning and fresh lemon. After it is done, put it in a bowl and mash it together with two tablespoons of Greek yogurt (preferably fat-free), one ounce of goat cheese, one-fourth of a cup of red onions (diced), and a squeeze of fresh lime juice.

Step 1

Bake 6oz raw wild salmon in the oven using smoke seasoning and fresh lemon.

Step 2

Once it is baked, mash it into a bowl and add 2 tbsp fat free Greek yogurt, 1oz goat cheese, 1/4 cup diced red onion, fresh lime juice.
