Sometimes there’s either just not enough time, or admittedly, I’m just not in the mood to cook. We’ve all experienced those moments.

So, one product I always keep in my freezer is whole wheat naan bread. Not only is it delicious, but also it’s also a healthy complex carbohydrate that I can use to make a faux-pizza. Great time-saver, no need for making pizza dough, no hassle and family-approved.

Meat lovers would crave this recipe. If you’re looking for a high protein meal, pizza topped with meat is also a smart choice.

Before you start, preheat the oven to 395F. Start by seasoning the juicy ground bison and then cook it in a skillet. Add some cayenne pepper, paprika, cumin and pepper to get a full flavor.

While you’re cooking meat, spread BBQ sauce on naan bread and add one cup of spinach. Place cooked ground bison on a piece of naan bread. Top with chopped red onions and goat cheese.

Now when we’ve got all of our ingredients ready, it’s time to bake. Place the naan bread on a baking rack. We don’t want the bottom to get soggy, so that’s a great trick. Then bake in the oven for about 20 minutes.

When it’s baked, serve on the pizza stone. Cut the pizza into equal pieces and top with some fresh herbs. Grab your favorite drink and enjoy. It’s so unique and crispy, your family would be excited!

If you want others to experience this unusual pizza recipe with bison meat, be sure to share it with all of your friends and family.
